  • Detailed Black Cadillac Escalade

Cadillac Escalade with 40k miles on it (it was in a small wreck before)

Client wanted 2 step paint correction and full interior clean-up

Process took around 15 hours in 4 day process (mainly after college)

    Process:
M95 and UC on yellow pad and some places purple pad with rotary
M205 on yellow pad with DA
NXT 2.0 wax on black pad (DA)
    HD 4:1 on engine
    Interior detailer on dashboard
APC+ on seats and doors (had some kind of glue) then vacuumed
    NXT Glass cleaner on windows

Washed it and then took some pictures.

    BEFORE

Apparently it was detailed before me.

Had to remove this thing that was left from window visor

Carpet wasn't in bad condition, just needed good vacuum

And then the Sun came out, and it was a wonderland
    Buffer trails were everywhere.

    During

Decided to clay bar the car.
From this picture, I did just that area

    And I got this result

Then turned on my light and saw some more scratches, lol

    Don't mind my finger print...

    Afters

And I LOVE this shot, because my car is in it, hehe

DANG! That Escalade was torn up, dude! Great save on that one.
Any reason why you left the wheels un-dressed? j/k

Yeah I agree, very nice turn around, and to do it in about 15 hours total for all that real estate!
I really wouldn't say that someone "detailed" her before you, it was straight out HACKED! If I was the owner I would've been pitching a fit big time.

WOW...I have to agree with all the others. That thing was...well...some kind of hosed up. You did a great job of bringing it back to life.

                    Re: Detailed Black Cadillac Escalade

I think the tire comments are funny. 15 hours of work vs. 15 minutes to dress the tires and that what sticks out. I didn't judge them because of how little effort it and time it takes.

Too me dressing tires is kind of like putting on a tie. You definitely need it, but it's something you do at the end. Lots of choices. You choose the one the compliments everything else.

Very nice work!! Funny, but there was two things with your updated pictures that immediately caught my eye. 1) Great Shine 2) No tire dressing. Not to pester you, my intent is to point out how anal many of us are. It's funny how those of us that appreciate a clean, detailed car pick up on things like this. Again, great work!!

This was one hacked Escalade for sure. I've never seen a newer Escalade in person with those wheels. All the ones I see have the upgraded bigger chromed rims.

You did awesome work to bring paint back to life.

Whoever detailer this Escalade before, did not care about waxing CAREFULLY (or tape up) around the emblems and edges. Looks UNprofessional.
