  • Meguiars "Fast Finish"...

Hello again, much like my thread about Meguiars Poly Sealant System, I was also wanting to briefly touch on Meguiars "Fast Finish" The same stuff that's featured in these following commercials...

Ok by any chance is this stuff still around (I'm pretty sure it's not but just in case) And if it's not around, what is currently around that's a lot like it? For example, is fast finish spray wax pretty much today's quick detailer? Thanks for your time guys, take care.

The spray wax was just that, a spray wax rather than a quick detailer. Just as the first commercial states - liquid, paste or spray. We don't generally make a wax in all three formats though. There is no spray version of Gold Class, for example, but there is our Quik Wax in the A-Line and of course the first gen of NXT was available as liquid, paste or spray.

I used this as well in the early 1980's. There was also a Fast Finish car wash. The spray wax was Meguiar's first, as far as I know. I preferred the Lifetime Poly Sealant.

Hello Cheese, yes I'm very interested in getting it from you, how much are you offering for and how will you get it to me? Do you sell on ebay? If so, let me know. Thanks!

                  Re: Meguiars "Fast Finish"...

By the way, I was going to mention, just a few days ago I finally got to try out some of the Fast Finish liquid wax on my dad's old 1984 Red Pontiac Fiero, and even though the car and probably the wax I was using is as old as me, that stuff really lived up to it's name as far as being a fast, easy, no buff wax. It applied and removed so nicely! And it left a very deep shine! Now granted, it may not have a very sweet smell (it smelled more like what you think a wax should smell like) but it especially removed so smoothly!

Plus I also just received my can of Mirror Glaze 16 and I can't wait to try it out on my Sunfire in a couple of months!

Haha I am very jealous of your retro detail. Good to see the product had not gone off. I hope my 3 bottles of Gold Class liquid wax last 30 years because I'll still be using the last bottle by then. It just spreads so thin!
