Any reason why UC was included in this kit,Since its the 2nd most aggressive SMAT product?
Going by the least aggressive first,wouldnt something like SwirlX be better?

Either way I cant wait to get this kit!

Ultimate Compound sells a ton more than Swirlx. Also, many consumers are looking for a dramamtic improvement with as little work as possible and Ultimate Compound will cover a whole range of issues leaving the surface LSP ready in most cases. People may not get a bad feeling about Meguiars if Swirlx is included and doesn't removeeven light swirls relatvely quickly (relataive in relation to Ultimate Compound).

At least that is my thinking.

But, I am not sure why they included Gold Class Carnauba Plus and not Ultimate Wax. Marketing perhaps? Show that a variety of waxes available from Meguiars are top-quality? Anyway, it is still a great kit.

Marketing, pricing, target audience, target goals - these all came into play here. For paint that is in real need of "restoration", as is this kit's intent, SwirlX is most likely going to be much too gentle to correct the issues. UW is almost double the price of Gold Class, so that played a role in this too.

I purchased this kit 2 weeks ago. The only reason being was to try the gold class plus. All of the other products are simply to top up my existing Meguiars products

Here in the UK you cant buy this as stand alone product yet!!.

I cant believe how cheap Meguiars products are in the USA. In the UK this kit is 3 times the cost!!!
