  • Re: D/A Microfiber System

Over on AGO, I read a post from Mike Phillips who stated he was advised by Jason Rose that this system will be officially released yet this month. Mike also said he currently has some of the production pads, compound, and polish/wax, and they reportedly perform "better than the pre-production product he'd previously tested."

As to release date - don't take everything you hear/read third hand on the internet as gospel. Things can always change with new product launches.

Will the pads be available in 6" or 6.5"?

Oh, Ah the accident is gone. I loved the accident.

As soon as I can get my hands on the system I will post my own accident. A C3 corvette with nice ACI flares, a Jag and something special if you like older muscle cars with lots of horsepower..

I have never had it to Kezar. Moosehead many times, a lot on the Penobscot river and a few small lakes. The trouble with the small lakes is you are setting there having a lunch with your wife with the boat shut off and every kid on the lake that thinks his dads boat is fast has to come out and go by and leave you bobbing up and down.

Its a glastron-Carlson. It has a 330hp 350 chevy engine. Lots of fun on smooth water and absolutely useless if its rough. Don't mess with some of those little jet skis. I had one pass me like I was in reverse when I was flat out. I bet he was doing over 80mph.

Any further details or updates on availability?

Does the finishing wax have polishing/light defect removal ability or is it just straight wax?

Nothing new/definitive yet on availability dates, sorry.

Yes, the Finishing Wax most definitely has defect removal ability - it's a combination of the liquid and the microfiber finishing disc really. It's actually fairly common to get some light to moderate hazing with the cutting disc and compound, but the finishing wax cleans that right up. You can do all the IPA or mineral spirit wipedowns you want, too, because it's not filling, it's correcting.
