  • Confusion Regarding UQW and New Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax

I have used UQW and think it is an excellent product. I would like to purchase New Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax because of the size but when I called Mequiars support asking how the two compared he said UQW was better. He said the new X-press wax was more for a quick wipe down and had less protection than UQW. He knew exactly what I was talking about and was not getting it mixed up with any other product. Is this because he knew I was a consumer or is there any truth to this. I think I remember Michael Stoops say that the scent was the only difference. What's the deal?

    Thanks

There should not be any difference in protection. The only changes were color and fragrance I believe.

Q: How does this compare to UQW?

A: Same basic technology / foundation as far as UQW goes, but we taylored the color, fragrance and of course the packaging for the professional user. - Mike Pennington

Well, I'm not quite sure where the miscommunication came from but UQW and Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax are basically the same product with just a tweak to the color and scent. Our apologies for the confusion.
