Need input for dedicated pads for my rotary buffer.

Hi folks, I just wanted to solicit some inputs regarding foam pads. I recently got 3 different kinds of foam pads (SM Arnolds) for my rotary buffer. Now I'm planning to use these 3 as a dedicated pads for every paint care/restoration. I'm planning to use these for:

1. Buffing (60ppi) - green - Step 2 Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner & Polish Wax (M83)
2. Polishing (70ppi)- blue - Step 3 Meguiar's Hi-Tech Yellow Wax (M26)
3. Finishing (80ppi)- black - 3-in-1 Quik Detailer Wax (M66)

Note that I haven't included the Meguiar's Power Compound (M84) because I have the wool pads for that.

What do you guys think?

Ive used there yellow pad that left some marring with 151 on hard paint so IMO its pretty much a cutting pad .. its not as dense as a Megs maroon cutting pad but a little coarser. The black IMO would be equivalent to a Megs yellow pad.
If your trying to finish out with the black and a rotary and dont have a DA, jewel the paint by raising up your buffer with your hand from the paint so that there is barely light contact with the pad and paint ... not sure if this the acclaimed jeweling method but it certainly works for me.

thanks fred, i actually used to having it "light", when using my buffer. Will try out my pads and post a pics later. thanks.
