Well the kiddies dropped their ancient laptop on the kitchen floor so for $14.14 for a new base and power jack I figured I'd fix it. While I was at it I figured I'd try PlastX to get all the scratches (like someone drawing with a pen on the screen) out of the screen. Well it got 99% of the scratches out and even took what looked like water spots off the screen. Sorry no pics but I assure you the results were amazing!

Re: PlastX on Dell Latitude C610 Laptop LCD Screen
While it's great to hear that you had such good results on this old screen, we will caution others against using PlastX on newer laptop screens, in car navigation screens, etc. These can be very delicate surfaces that can be easily damaged by improper use, or overly aggressive use, of PlastX or any other similar product. In fact, PlastX is not designed for these surfaces so we recommend against using it for that application.
That said, it sounds as though you had nothing really to lose here and you got great results. It should also be noted that if things were to go wrong, they would go wrong during the application and not just show up down the road.Michael Stoops
