  • wax after buffing new paint?

after a 2 month delay, i am finally going to be able to put some new paint on my motorcycle tins. i use nothing but meguiars products on everything. now, recently i have read that, after color sanding and buffing the paint, i should avoid applying any wax for at least 60 days, and better to be 120 days. fact, fiction, or personal preference?

    That's correct.

Fresh paint has to fully out-gas. No wax for at least 60 days.

But you could use a paint polish.

Yeah, #80 is good for fresh paint.
