I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

Depends on what I need to stock up. I stay on top of my stash so I only buy one or two products at a time.

When new products come out I tend to spend more and then it slows down through the year as I just buy what I'm low on.

Depends, if I'm Buying online I try to make a larger purchase to offset high shipping prices, but locally I'll usually grab one or two items

When buying online I usually buy at least $100 to make it worth it but otherwise it's only small things.

I just placed an order with Meguiars Direct for a measly amount of $60. APC + Final Touch + Hyperwash. It's my first online purchase of any kind. =D

Re: How Much Do You Spend When Buying Detailing Materials

The general answer is more than my wife thinks I should but less than I'd like to.

When buying online, I typically spend enough to get free shipping - would rather pay for product than shipping. Buying locally I pick up what I need as I need it usually $10-20 at a time.

Just received a $102 and change order from ADS that included the DA MF Jr Starter kit, some Super Soap, a wash mitt, and a Water Magnet towel. Great way to end the work week.

Now I just need the weather to cooperate.

Usally more than $300.00.(last order was 500+) Hard to find what I need so I buy enough to last awhile and the free shipping is nice when you spend more.

Funny thing this poll, for us Aussies, $100-$200 is about 3 maybe 4 bottles, for our mates in the US, you probably get about 10 or more
