    I use ear protection (foamies) when using my buffer machines as well as when I use compressed air to blow out water from vehicle crevices. The G110v2 is not bad for high pitch noise, but generally the Makita rotary and the PC can start getting to me after extended use if I don't use protection.

      I should use some when working with rotary buffers but I don't.

        I use the over the ear style as its easy to take on and off.
