Wax after Plast-X

I use Plast-X to clean my headlights from time-to-time. Frankly, I didn't see the benefit, maybe because my headlights are in good conidtion.

My question is since Plast-X is a polish, should I apply wax afterward?

If you arent seein much benefit, washing and waxing on its own would probably be fine as well.
