    New paint in bumper, dealer waxed it!!

    Just had my rear bumper painted by the dealer, when I picked it up asked them about the procedure used and got surprised when told me they had waxed the bumper

    I`ve read that new paint should at least wait for 30 days before waxing, what should I do??

    If you want to be safest, you could get something mild like Deep Crystal Cleaner, #9, #80 etc to clean the bumper.

      if you want to remove the wax... use dawn or a glass cleaner... thats what i did with my truck when they repainted my door. and just let it gas out and fully cure till you feel comfortable to rewax it... hope thats the answer your looking for
