Gold Class trim detailer Vs. Ultimate protectant (dash & trim restorer)

Hello guys, could anyone explain the difference between these two products?

I would like to bring back to life black plastic under the windshield, because it is starting to fade (but it is not fairly faded yet).

    Thanks!

The Ultimate Protecant is newer, going to be a bit more durable. Probably better in most cases.

From my experience the Ultimate Protectant lasts much longer, doesn't streak when it rains and restores faded plastic better.

Here's a step to try if you really want your work to last; Clean the panels and treat with your protector of choice. After it's had about a week to cure, cover it with layer of a non-whitening wax. It extends the durability greatly. My black textured cowl panels are still beading in March, having been treated this way in early December.

Thanks, Bill. I'll try that one.
I have just ordered Ultimate protectant dash & trim restorer, then after a week I'll cover it with Ultimate Quick Wax (I have it in stock). I hope that's OK.

When applying the Ultimate Protectant, make sure you use a small amount and work it in really good. Don't just load it on and let it soak in. If you use it right, a little bit goes a very long way and there should be no residue to wipe off. It will dry completely dry to the touch in a matter of minutes, too.

Re: Gold Class trim detailer Vs. Ultimate protectant (dash & trim restorer)

what is the best way to get rid of some light white stains on plastic trims ? Is there some kind of cleaning agent to use before Ultimate Protectant that could do the job ?

    Thanks!
