    Rotary buffer or dual action polisher for dark green gel coat?

    I have a dark green colored hull (gel coat). I have removed practically all of the oxidation from the gel coat. I now plan to lightly compound and then polish the hull. I would plan to finish with waxing by hand. Which would be the better choice, the rotary like the Makita 9227C or a dual action like the Porter Cable 7424? I owned a Makita 9227C up until a few years ago when I sold it. Was pleased with it but not sure whether to buy another at this point. Thoughts and comments are appreciated.
