    Meguiars 3" backing plate on 7424XP

    I've gotten tired of waiting for the G110v2 to come back and decided to go with a Porter Cable 7424XP instead.

    Will Meguiar's 3" backing plate fit the unit?

    The porter-cable . g110v2 and the Griots machine all take the same thread for the backing plates.So your answer is yes it will fit.
