The bottle of Quik Detailer I have has an excellent fine mist spray to it, try taking the nozzle off of one of these bottles and use it for the NXT (after you rinse it out first of course)

Yep, that's a good idea. The Quick Detailer does have a very nice mist. Darn, I just tossed an empty bottle out last night and today was garbage day! LOL

NXT products

Would it be possible to mix with other non-NXT polishers?

I am not sure about local regulations regarding carwash water, but I have large driveway, water don't run away to storm drain at all. However swimming pool water runs straight to storm drain, but that's how it was designed back in 80's.

What's so great about these events is that everyone jumps in and works as a team to shine up their friends Mini Cooper!

Before applying the NXT Tech wax, friends went around the car and removed any light dust using Meguair's Quik Detailer and clean, 100% cotton towels.

Here's Tracy applying NXT Tech Wax to her Mini Cooper's finish using the G-100 Dual Action Polisher with a W-8006 foam polishing pad.
