  • Polishing Yamaha Drums with Lacquer finish

    Hi everyone,

I just bought Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #9, #7, and #26 for my drums.

They are a Lacquer finish and were done as a 9 step process at the Yamaha factory in 1997.

They are in excellent shape overall, just want to remove some hairline scratches and shine them up as best as I can.

I took all the hardware off, and I going to clean/polish each drum shell by hand.

Just making sure I should do the #26 High-Tech Yellow.

I saw another post on here regarding the topic but it just mentioned using #9 and #7.

Should I top them off with wax?

I also bought the Meguiar's Hot Rims Chrome Polish to do the hardware.

Thanks so much for any info!
