  • #83 Residue

I use blue painter's tape when using the pc & #83. I've noticed that after the application, there is a line of residue left adjacent to the tape that is quite difficult to remove.

It looks as if the #83 has dried before breaking down (as it is in contact with the edge of the tape). I tried using the bonnet to no avail.

Is there an easy way to remove the #83 when it has dried before breaking down (short of scrubbing away at it with the MF )?

    thanks

Here at Meguiar's we do a lot of side-by-side demonstrations and we get this same residue down the tape line. What we do is either wipe gently with a microfiber polishing cloth, or mist on some Quick Detailer and then wipe.
