  • what's the difference between Meguiar's X3070 pads, and W0002 pads?

These two are the only Maguiar's foam pads I can find online, both of them are foam pads, tho they seem to have quite different price and name?

Is there any difference between these two, except for their slightly different looking?

They're the same pad. The W0002 part number has been discontinued but it usually denoted a bulk packaging of the applicators and therefore (usually) a lower price point for the distributor. As an example, there was an ebay seller several years ago selling these in boxes of 50, loose packed, for about $0.40/pad. Anyone still selling under this part number has old stock (not that that's a problem, it just is what it is) and is most likely selling at the standard markup they use, or trying to blow them out of inventory. If you find a great deal on them, grab 'em!

X3070 is the current part number for the actual two-pack packaging of the pads.
