  • GC Rich Leather Cleaner / Conditioning Gel

First time owning a car with leather seats. I have been searching the forum a bit on leather care and have some questions with the GC Rich Leather C/C Gel. The seats are for the most part clean (hard to tell with grey leather). I have heard, seen, and read the horrors of damaged and neglected leather; really need this car to last for years to come.

Here's my process: I squirt a pea size amount on MF towel and rub in and continue to do so until seat is completed, then wipe down with unused side of the towel. Is it normal for it to be a bit tacky after application? The car is left outside, usually with sunshade in windshield; what should the application cycle be, monthly?

Apologies for the lateness of this response. The gel version of GC Rich Leather C/C will leave that almost tacky feel immediately after application, and perhaps for several minutes following. But it goes away quickly once it's fully penetrated and dry. What's really nice about this product is that it won't dry white in seams, along stitching, or in perforations. A light application every month is a good idea, and the light application you're doing is great. You never want to over use this or any other product.
