Oil on interior vinyl/plastic

A friend splattered oil in the back end of their SUV. the way back as I call it. They said it is on the plastic or vinyl part (I have not seen the SUV yet).

Any recommendations on what to use to remove?

Some Dawn is probably good, or something else with a bit of degreaser.

I agree with Murr. Dawn maybe with some warm water. Try a small area see how that works. Hopefully that works out.

Just to follow up with the results.
The customer was not sure what was actually spilled. It was something unmarked that was in an old shed on their property, so it may not have been oil as she told me. I tried dawn and no impact. Got out M39 heavy duty vinyl cleaner and a stiff bristle brush...that worked...happy customer.
