  • Lowest temp M/F system will work and shelf life

Live in canada winter is approaching and i as wondering if anyone has info on the lowest temps M/F correction system and maybe megs 105/205 with a GG6 DA will work? Between now and winter my garage will be aprox 6-20 degrees Celsius or (42-68 F) inside my garage during the day for a detail job. with humidity varying from 30 to 75%, again any info when and at what temps i may run into problems correcting paint?

    Here's a brief discussion:

Keep the stored products above freezing, say room temperature to extend shelf life.

my experience is that everything works as normal above 10 degrees celsius, including wax application and everything.
It is the minimum temp i run in my garage in winter.

I keep a termostat guided heater in my product storage room, never goes below 10 degrees. My main concern is when the power goes out

10C = 50F which is pretty much on par with our minimum temperature recommendation for virtually anything pertaining to paint care. Just be aware that many waxes will take longer to dry at lower temperatures and over use of some compounds and paint cleaners can cause them to behave in ways you may not expect - slower break down, a heavier feel to them, etc. While some claim to have had good success with various products at temperatures well below this, those results are hit and miss at best - stay above that 10C/50F and you should be just fine.
