  • ???meguiar's m2016 mirror glaze 20 polymer sealant???

I recently bought a 16oz bottle of #20 polymer sealant and applied it to my 2011 camaro and i have black graphics stripes on the hood, trunk and both sides after it rained the stripes had white runs and they all just looked faded what can be done to correct this and is there something meguiars sells to put just on the graphic stripes to help take care of them.

    Thanks,

      edwilk,
Your best bet is to call the customer service hotline number that is located on the back of the product/bottle. They will be able to take care of you in a timely manner and get you heading in the right direction.

      The number is 1-800-347-5700

First off, we deleted your duplicate thread posted in the "Clear Plastic Detailing" section because, well, we aren't talking about clear plastic here.

Now, are these stripes glossy or more of a matte finish? If matte then you should keep wax off of them in the first place, but if glossy then just about any wax is fine, although we'd stay away from any strong cleaner waxes. M20 would be fine here as it's a very mild cleaner wax. But either way, neither M20 nor any other wax is going to run and leave streaks like this, even if you applied it to a matte finish stripe (you'd have a whole different issue then, and you'd know it as soon as you tried to wipe the wax off). Did you apply anything else to these stripes, any sort of vinyl dressing or the like? It's very common for people to wax glossy vinyl stripes and they have zero issue with it.
