All Wheel and Tire Cleaner is designed to wash away filth with ease, leaving behind not only clean wheels, but clean tire sidewalls as well. The Xtreme Cling solution foams and clings to the wheel and tire, turning from white to brown as it grabs all brake dust and grime. What's more, this unique product is safe to use on all factory coated wheels, taking the stress of finding the right wheel cleaner out of the equation.

This tire and wheel don't look all that bad, right?


This is the original Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner sprayed onto half the tire/wheel combo.


While the original formula dwells, the new version is sprayed on the other side. Same number of sprays with each product, same type of sprayer on the bottle, but you can see how much more foaming action there is with the new version, and how much more effectively it cleans the sidewall of the tire.


After just several seconds of dwell time and all the crud is just running off the tire.


Remember that this product must be rinsed off thoroughly with water and not simply allowed to self dry!

Looks good. So less tire scrubbing required. Does the rim still need to be agitated with brushes?

Wheels may still need some agitation depending on amount of brake dust and whether or not you're using our new Hot Rims Brake Dust Barrier But the amount of crud removed from the tire even without agitation is pretty amazing. Still, in most cases some agitation is probably going to be called for.

Your kidding me. You scrubbed the right side of the tire after the application of the new stuff right? How about the wheels wells? Im sure it would work well on them right?

In the sequence of images shown in the original post we did nothing more than spray it on, let it dwell for a bit, then wiped off. That's it. As for its effectiveness on wheel wells, it should work very well but you might want to check that it doesn't cause an side effects on the plastic. We haven't checked to see if it might cause some staining or whitening of plastics like some cleaners can, so experiment at your own risk.

I've been lurking around MOL for a while, but felt compelled to finally register simply so I could respond to this. Wouldn't Meguiar's find it important to test this product on plastics considering the high potential for overspray on fender well plastics?

There is actually a very low potential for any overspray on plastic fender wells. Sure, you might get a few drops on them but it's not like getting even a single drop of an acid wheel cleaner on bare aluminum - that will leave a nice little white spot in no time. If there is any real issue with this, and I seriously doubt there is, it would be heavily spraying it onto the liners and letting it sit for several minutes. But if someone just grabs a product like this for that purpose, especially on very dirty liners, that's how they'll use it. And that's what we don't necessarily want you doing. But a few drops or light overspray should not be an issue at all.

IS this product contain more acid that the original one ? i think i have to becarefull with my hand
