If you've got clear plastic windows on your boat and you're constantly fighting water spots, of if you've got a car with a plastic rear window in the convertible top, you're going to love this product!

Re: Clear Plastic & Vinyl Window Wax

        Here is a problem/solution I've been looking for...water repelling on a OEM Harley-Davidson windshield.

As most of you know using Rain-X on a HD OEM windshield will cause it to yellow within about two months.
Once this happens it is yellowed and fogged to a point that all you can do is replace a very expensive part.
I have found Liquid Glass will work on a HD OEM windshield without ANY issues or chemical reaction problems.

        My questions are:

Does the Megs Clear Plastic & Vinyl Window Wax have the hydrophobic qualities of Rain-X?
Does anyone know how Megs Clear Plastic & Vinyl Window Wax will react on the HD OEM windshield?

Have you have ever ridden in the rain and can't see in front of you!!! Not only is this a big deal. it's a big market.
This would also be a big deal on clear plastic helmet visors. With fogging & rain you can be blind on the highway!

I'm not saying that it's endorsed for this...what I'm asking is..Will it repel water and keep it fog free without destruction?

Re: Clear Plastic & Vinyl Window Wax

This product has been extensively tested on the sort of flexible clear plastic windows found on the canvas biminis common to boats, and the flexible plastic windows found in convertible tops on cars. We haven't specifically tested it for long term use on motorcycle windshields or helmet visors so we can't immediately address your concerns about yellowing of this material. This product is closely related to our Ultimate Quik Wax spray, which does contain hydrophobic polymers. But again, we have not tested that product on motorcycle windshields or helmet visors.

This is something I can pose to our R&D group though and see what their feedback is. At the very least they'll know how it compares to RainX from a chemistry standpoint.

I'm real interested in how it will react with the OEM Harley windshield
            Using Rain-X on a Harley-Davidson windshield is a big Bozo-No-No.
Rain-X will cause it to fog and yellow within a month to six weeks!

I'd be really interested in using this for helmet visors and HD windshields.
