  • Rust stains on leather seating surfaces

My son has a 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat. He recently moved to a new apartment and had two 25 pound dumbells on the rear seats of his vehicle. They left rust stains on the leather seating surfaces. Any idea on how to get the rust stains out? He already tried Lexol and it didn't do anything. I've never encountered rust on leather, so I am loking for an answer for him.
    Thanks in advance!

There are a few things you could try. I'd start with a Woolite/water solution at about a 1:6 dilution. If that fails, as I think it will, then I'd try diluted CLR Outdoor Furniture cleaner or highly diluted Super Iron Out. Test these products on your leather in an inconspicuous area first.

Have you tried our Gold Class Leather & Vinyl Cleaner? Not the cleaner/conditioner in one bottle but the dedicated cleaner only in the black spray bottle - it's great stuff!

If none of those products work check out Leather Master products called Ink Killer or Super Remover. One of those might work for you.
