    So, the G110v2 is no longer on back order. Question.....

    I've read that the most recent G110v2 is more powerful than the pre-backorder G110v2. Any truth to this?

    Just got mine from an order I placed in SoCal 2 months ago. My DA is very powerful, even if I apply much pressure even at low speed settings.

      No, none whatsoever - power is identical with both pre and post back ordered tools.

        Just used my new one after my G110v1 took a dump on me and I must say I am impressed with the new one!

            Have you corrected the common problems experienced with many of g110v1/v2 users, or it's still the same...??

              The commonly mentioned cord issue has been addressed, yes.

                So how much use did your version 1 see before it died. Curious because I'm weighing the Meguiars vs a new Porter Cable. Thanx.

                  My opinion ,stick with G100V2. You will not be happy with Porter cable. Recently they had their issues with main shaft breaking. I had one and took it back. Now I have G110V2 and in my opinion there is no comparison.Any issues with G110v2 were cord related. Nothing major to be concerned about.
