Evening all hope you had a good christmas! been searching the sites for a decent polish to complete my detailing and i have come across this polish Meguiars Mirror Glaze #205 Ultra Finishing Polish. has anyone used this before and if so is it any good to use by hand? or is the ultimate polish just as good?

205 is just GREAT! Ultimate polish is derived from 205 and (to me) is just as good. UP does have more 'oils', but again, to me that just give it more working time.
As to going 'by hand'...sorry can't answer that one, I'm pretty well a machine guy.
I'm sure others will chime in with their experiences.

As Bill points out, Ultimate Polish is derived from M205 but there are some differences between them, most notably UP having more polishing oils and M205 offering a bit more cut that can increase clarity of the paint. Working by hand they may be a toss up, depending on what your goals are.Michael Stoops
