      Re: Ultimate compound

You can clay any smooth, shiny surface, including these pillars. That means you can also clay glass, chrome, headlights, tail lights - anything that is smooth and glossy. Keep the clay off of textured plastics like the plastic cowl at the base of the windshield, for example.

I'm planning on hand applying uc to me 2001 grand prix what would be a good wax to use after the uc so i don't have to use ultimate polish.

            Re: Ultimate compound

Any of them would be fine.. Ult. Polish isnt a requirement for anything.

              Re: Ultimate compound

Okay but a polish/wax would be better than a pure wax.

I think the Gold Class+, and Nxt 2.0, fall in the polish/wax category. Ult. Wax and #26 cant be far off.

If you're looking for a polish/wax then go with Gold Class Carnauba Plus (if you want a carnauba wax) or NXT 2.0 / Ultimate Wax (if you prefer synthetic).

If you're asking if we would apply a pure polish such as DC Polish or M07 to glossy B-pillars prior to waxing, then the answer is no. Just clean them up with a mild paint cleaner and then apply the same wax that you're using on the rest of the vehicle.
