Re: Headlight Makeover
That's insane! Nice work man!
I can't believe how trashed the headlights were to start with - almost looks like they had a light coat of spray paint on them.Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Re: Headlight Makeover
Oh, I see. Spar Urethane is actually a clear protective coating formulated for timber!

Any of the other "headlight kits" available to the common consumer offer "band-aid" solutions with their "headlight protectants"...

Now if you want a temporary fix and are satisfied with ~80% correction and continual "messing" with your headlights to keep them presentable... yes.

Re: Headlight Makeover
Those look great! Worth $50 imo. Are you applying that product with a brush? Does mixing it with the mineral spirits help level it out like that? Is it a couple thin coats. Thank you.Fergy-
You're only as good as your last detail
