What is the best way to clean the drill attachment that comes with the HD headlight restoration kit.
Also, a massive thanks to Meguiar's, my headlights look brand new once again!

There are many good ways to clean pads.
Here's mine: Run some tap water over the pad to get it good and wet. Squirt a ribbon of dish soap, such as Dawn, on to the wet pad. Work it in well with your hands or even a soft brush. Rinse well and hang up to drip dry, or press it between the folds of a terry towel for quicker drying. If I'm working with single stage paint and the pad is badly stained, I'll add an intermediate step between scrub and rinse. I'll toss the soapy pad in a bucket of Oxi-Clean or a similar product at pre-soak strength, let it soak overnight and rinse thoroughly the next day. I love the Oxygen cleaners for both my pads and microfibers it seem to dislodge stains much better than soap alone.

Bill's reference to working on single stage paint tells us that he might be confusing the pad from the HD Headlight Restoration Kit with typical foam pads used with a DA or rotary. Even so, his techniques are still completely valid since we are still talking about cleaning a buffing pad of some sort. Follow his suggestions and you'll be good to go.
