  • #57 compared to #40

I was getting ready to do the rubber seals of my travel trailer with #40 , but while I was in the rv place I saw a bottle of #57. I took a peek inside and a whiff..It looked and smelled the same as #40 (which I know doesn't mean a thing.) so what is the difference?

    Hey 2000,

The two products are quite different. I believe the #57 has more cleaners as well as more UV protection. On an RV, you may prefer to use #57. Just IMHO.

        Re: #57 compared to #40

IMHO the #57 is the best marine vinyl protectant period! I tried the Flaghship protectant and would up with a lot of mildew over the winter, which I never experienced with the #57!
