  • First detail on my 98

    This is the truck, http://www.meguiarsonline.com/galler...1380-thumb.JPG

I clayed it first, then used DC paint cleaner, then DC paint polish, then Gold Class Wax, , it turned out pretty good. Can't wait to get a G100a to cut the time in half. Next project is my wifes van, it's really dirty, it will be a good test.http://www.meguiarsonline.com/galler...at=500&page=1. I posted some pictures in the gallery but I have more to put in.
    Thanks for letting me post.

Thanks, I noticed your truck in the background of your picture (behind the Kia) . You can't tell it but mine is a 1 ton dually w\8 foot bed. I started with the clay last Sat and Sun. Then bad weather started and it rained and rained. A week later, yesterday I started around 9 in the morning and finished at 4 in the afternoon. I did use a orbital buffer that I bought a couple years ago. It did help to speed up the process. I can't wait to get the PC and see what it will do. It did't take long to wax, about 1 hr. because of the prep that was done with the DCPC and the DCPP. The Coors breaks made it a little longer.

Good luck with your truck. A polisher helps alot.

Good job on your truck Mark!

An orbital beats nothing at all!
