No 7" Wool Velcro Pads for the Meguiars Porter Cable 7335

This is a real bugger. I have to use this wool pad and tie it onto my 7" polishing pad. Pain in the neck, and the wool sheds and has ruined a backing plates. I have to purchase an 8" backing plate and then an 8" wool velcro pad.

Anyone know of an after market 7" wool pad that will velcro onto this setup?

    Thanks for your help!

What do you use the wool pad on a DA for?

I believe you are having trouble finding a wool pad for your da because wool pads are not intended for da use. If a high gloss with a da is desired a foam pad is what you need. Leave the wool pads for the rotary.

Whoa....... wait a second here....... what are we missing?

The black finishing pad should be used on a DA buffer at a low speed (3-4) to apply a thin and uniform coat of wax to the paint. Once that wax dries all you need to do is wipe it off with a microfiber towel and you're done. Repeated buffing is not going to increase the gloss one little bit. In fact, repeated buffing will only serve to remove that thin little layer of wax you intended to leave behind. And wool is certainly not going to do you any favors at all here as a traditional wool pad is very aggressive and will mar the heck out of your paint when used on a DA.
