  • An Engine Detail

    Toyota Echo.
I would've used a Meg's degreaser and Hyper Dressing but those products aren't available here.
Rinsed initially with hose and attachment on 'shower' setting. Applied Autoglym engine/machine cleaner, scrubbed with a brush and rinsed off well. Dried off, then applied GC Trim Detailer.
I'm no engine detailing expert but this was quite straight-forward.

Way to go. If you are one of the lucky ones that has a water sealed engine bay than it is extremely strait forward. Engine bay looks great

Great work. That engine bay looks cleaner than ones that come straight off the dealership lot!

          Nice job!

I just detaled mine and my wifes engine for the first time this weekend. I was a little scared to get all that water in the engine and not be able to get it started again. All I used was some simple green and a brush. My engine had never been cleaned in 5 years and my wifes in 3 years. I had them both looking pretty clean in less than 1 hour. To be safe I started both cars imediatly after rinceing them off and both engines started right up with no problems. I wish I had done this sooner.

On a side note my engine seems to be running a little cooler now
