I am curious as to what products should be used on the exterior plastic that are on most cars these days? These are the lower panels, mostly colored black, that would consistute lower quarter panels. I saw a jeep that had a roof with this surface on it.

Does any products turn them white after a week or so?

Can you use a silicone product on it?

    thanks for any replies

Just got a 2000 Forester that has black plastic on the lower part of the doors. That looks like the ticket for me.

I agree on the Gold Class Trim Detailer. Its a great product, leaves a great looking finish....

I give a big for it!

After I apply it I like to go back over it with a dry towel (without any product) to remove excess and even out the product.
