Fake Supreme Shine Towel?

I bought this Supreme Shine MF from a local online retailer. I compared with my old stock, they suprisingly different. My old stock colour is darker, and it has thicker fibre. The tag cut and print out is also not as good as my old stock.

Is it new version of SS MF or do I get bogus item? My old stock was purchase in year 2010.

I recently was in a pinch and had to get the clay kit and the towel that came with it was like the one on the right. I'd say its fine

I believe that is a legit towel. I have a towel very similar, I have a Meg's black MF with short strands on one side, and medium (but not as long as a normal SS) strands on the other. I also have two Meg's MF towels like your lighter in color one, surprisingly, they feel softer than the regular yellow Meg's MF to me.
If you'd like, I could try to post a pic of my MF towels once I get home.

I contacted the seller yesterday. Indeed he said the MF was taken from a new car kit package. I believe the seller is a honest person. He offers me a replacement with the darker coloured MF. But still my question is, if it is taken from new car kit package, I wonder why both texture are different? I can confirm the darker colour has thicker fibre as you can see in the first picture..

Meg's MF towels, although quality, are not consistent. I too, got my lighter colored towels from a New Car Kit, and the Paint Restoration Kit.
Perhaps at different times, their MF towels were made by different people. I doubt that meguiar's makes their own MF towels, they may have also had different manufactures.

That is true. But I never ever found any light coloured SS towel in the 3 packs packaging, always the dark version. Is that mean they put lower quality of SS in their 'all in one' package? :/

We highly doubt it's a fake as we have never seen any bootleg versions of our towels on the market. But there is most certainly a color drift here that we have to put down to a difference in manufacturing lots. I've just spoken to our Quality Assurance Manager about this and that's his take on this as well. To be really candid with you all on this, the color of the towels is something that isn't specified as tightly as the aspects that are important to performance - weight, type of fiber, thread count, composition, etc. While we do sometimes see some slight color drift, this is, we admit, more than we like to see. But performance should not be impacted in the least so we see no reason why you should not use any of these towels.

That said, since we do stand behind every product we make with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, if you are not happy with these towels for any reason, just contact our Customer Care Center at 800.347.5700 and they'll be happy to arrange for a replacement or refund. Otherwise, thanks for bringing this to our attention and we're going to look into the matter further on our end.

Hi Mr.Stoops, Thanks for the feed back. I understand it really well. After talking with the seller, I also doubt it is a fake. Tough, I am not quite happy with the fibre texture. The seller is willing to send me a replacement. I am happy with the solution.

Actually it is my old BNIB stock. When the item arrived, I QC it and it goes directly to my storage compartment.

I do not think it is fake. I bought a 3 pack of the supreme MF towels and they are a darker yellow and when I bought the Meguiars clay kit, the MF towel that came with it was a lighter yellow which match the colors in your photo.
