I took a few quick pics last night after removing the 2nd coat of Collinite, sorry about the haze in the pictures, the kids got hold of the camera and there was some 'stuff' on the lens.

I had already used #2 last week. Yesterday it was #9 on a polishing pad (speed on the dial wasw a hair under 2. (that stuff will buff forever!! This was followed by Collinite Insulator wax X2 with thePC/finishing pad. The tires have Hot Shine on them.

Looks like your camera lens could use a little detail too.

Looks great! Was the rotary worth the purchase?

How do you like the insulator wax? It is supposed to be very durable. The paint looks darker than the last time you posted pics and I'm sure it's not the "stuff" on the lens.

For $30 how could I go wrong? I couldn't afford to have gotten a 'good' rotary, but I'm glad I was able to get this one.

To be honest, the last time I used the insulator wax was a month before the crash, so I never really got to see what it could do. I can say that you apply it to the pad in drops and it spreads forever. Removal isn't quite as easy, requiring one pass with the mf to 'break it up' and a second pass to wipe the surface clean.

The Insulator wax would be a good candidate for removal with an Ultimate Bonnet on a PC.
