  • Ethanol stain on white paint!

    Hi there guys,

So yesterday i got a call from a customer asking me if i could help him remove a Petrol stain from his BMW 1M.
So i washed the spot with Meguiars hyper wash then i clayed the spot.
Tried Meguiars Diamond Cut compound on a cutting pad which lightened it abit.
Then i tried Meguiars Ultimate Compound which didn't work.

What could you guys recommend i try.

The stain looks like this(Taken from the MG FORUM)

Try a chemical paint cleaner like Meg's paint cleaner, or wd40, or IPA or 3m adhesive remover.

M105 by hand should do it. Or use a 3" wool pad will defiantly work
Your looking at a stain. As in the gas is in the paint and needs to be removed.
You might even sand it with 3000 grit sand paper.
