  • Headlight Lens Restoration taken to the extreme for a perfect finish 996 lens

Here is a recent job that I did for a Porsche tuning shop that was previously restored by another HLR provider locally which was a total fail. I am really not sure what they did or what condition they were in prior to me receiving them. All I can say is that they were in horrendous shape and had I not performed my "Perfect Finish" HLR service they were destined for the trash...

Destroyed Porsche 996 lenses upon receipt

    Perfect finish HLR service begins

    Ready for UV coating

    UV light curing begins

Taking HLR to the next level with a perfect finish

A perfect finish HLR service any proud Porsche owner would wear

    Before HLR

    After HLR

Thank you for viewing my work....any comments are appreciated!

Very impressive, David. Can you explain a bit more about the process here? It looks like you're applying the UV cured coating to a surface that has been uniformly sanded to a very fine level, and then there's a polishing of the UV coating that follows, is that right?

Mike, thank you very much....I will be seeing you bright and early this morning and you will see first hand how this is done. Its a technique to turn this out that is very detailed but once you have it down it easy like any other aspect of detailing.....but you have the idea!
