  • Ultimate Wash And Wax Anywhere For Cold Winter Days

I would really like to have an Ultimate Wash And Wax Anywhere that works below 32 F. Would be happy to be able to clean the car in winter days like today (22 F )

I don't think your going to find a wash product that will perform in freezing weather. You have to have some kind of anti freeze and I don't think it safe for paint. but I could be wrong. Good luck.

When it gets that cold it becomes pretty tricky to use a spray wash, but a rinseless wash like our D114 Rinse Free Express wash may be the answer. You can mix up your wash solution with warm (not hot) water and very quickly wash the vehicle safely and effectively. It might still be a good idea to find some insulated and waterproof gloves when working in weather that cold.

^ you'd be surprised how fast a bucket of hot water becomes warm in freezing weather.
It was about -2C/ 28F yesterday and my ONR wash was rendered luke warm by the time I was done.
But i had no issues using my bare hands......

Btw, there's a new version of ONR with wax in it that I want to try....will Meguiars followup with a similar product??

Thanks! I did not know these products!

Michael, you mean UWAWA generally works also below 32F? Never tried that - maybe if I work on very small areas and very fast?

O.K. - no need to suggest the thread title any more - I tried it and it worked excellent!

Do not get any hot water on the glass in below freezing weather. It may CRACK.

                How true!

When I lived in Seattle, neighbor had some frost/ice on his windshield. He was too lazy (which is a 'truism'), went into the house and got pan of HOT water...well let's just say it sounded like a rifle shot when that water hit the glass.
