I've wondered what this stuff was all about. So, I tried it.
First, if you take this:
for a walk, make sure she doesn't go in the water.
If she does, you'll get this:
And you'll need this:
First thing, I vacuumed the hair and dirt. The Metro Vac&Blow is one killer car tool.
When I took the cap off the can, the spray nozzle came off with it; from then on, the nozzle came off several times.
The instructions on the can say to hold the can at a 45* angle, apply the foam to the leather and spread it around, but it doesn't specify how much foam, or what to use to spread it. This is too much foam; you could use half as much. I used a mf applicator:
One side: the finished product isn't as wet looking. This is just to show how it spreads, how it works:
All done with the application:
The instructions say to wipe it with a clean cotton terry towel, so I did, and it knocked the shine down quite a bit:
The Legacy's leather is naturally a matte finish; very classy, but not to my preference. In regards to that, the can claims that this product will not change the look or feel of your leather; IMO, it definitely puts a gloss to matte leather, so if you don't want that you might want to try something else. I like it, mostly because I like a little bit of gloss to my leather.
The product is simple to use and works well. I don't know the retail price, because I got mine as part of a $15 kit from Target (Christmas closeout).
