  • Eliminating a Blend Line Harsh Burn In?

I'm working on an older paint finish that is black single stage lacquer. It's had a little paint work on one of the quarter panels and I can see a blend line. It looks like the front 1/4 or so of the quarter panel was touched up at some point probably several years ago. As it goes toward the back of the car it stops abruptly and looks like a pretty harsh attempt at a burn in. Is there a way for me to make it look better and less noticeable?

Nope , the more you mess with it the worse it will get . Short of doing a re spray . That's one of the many problems with lacquer paint . I could go on and on about the cons of lacquer , but I want to stick with your question .
