P.O.'d about M101 package size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK Guys, I want to try M101, but it's only available in 32oz size. At that size, it's too expensive, and would last me 10 years. I want this product in 16 oz size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is the problem with doing this????????????????? Most of your other products I use (and I use a LOT of M"s stuff!) are available in 16 oz sizes!

Very unhappy with your marketing decision on this issue.

Isn't 32oz the standard size for the Mirror Glaze line?

Just be happy that they brought M101 over the pond for us. This is only supposed to be for Europe...

Jim, none of our other compounds, polishes and paint cleaners in the Mirror Glaze Professional Line come in 16 ounce sizes. This line is comprised of body shop safe products (other than the waxes and sealants) designed for volume use in the body shop industry. As such, we don't offer 16 oz sizes because from that perspective the smaller packaging would be too expensive for the target market. And that target market usually buys in gallons, by the way.

But speaking of M101 specifically, as you probably know it was never even intended to be sold in the USA as it was specifically formulated for high solids European aftermarket paint and the specific workflow used in European body shops. But detailers in the USA got a hold of it (often paying upwards of $100/quart including shipping back from Europe) and practically begged us to sell it here. After a year of being pestered by these guys, we relented and offered M101 domestically, but only in 32 oz size as we figured gallons wouldn't sell in enough volume here.

Okay.
It's a professional product and we use a lot so gallon size is what we usually use. Meguiar's doesn't package pro products in consumer packaging.
If your nice a member here would be happy to sell/give you a sample.
So my advice is to calm down a little and make another post asking nicely for someone to give you some.

Well, FYI, I have some M101 in an 8 oz size and #7 in a 16 oz size (I can send you pics!).

But, hey, I'm not excited, I'm just unhappy I can't get this in the size I want...like Ultimate Compound/Polish, etc.

I would be happier than heck if I could get a sample or have someone split a bottle of M101 with me.

I'm a bit surprised ADS does not sell M101 or M100 in smaller sample sizes as they do sell M105/M205 in 8oz and 12oz sample sizes, M66 in a 12 oz sample size...etc etc.
Maybe contact Rick at ADS to see if he'd consider it? He does sell the 16oz self cleaning bottles and sticker labels to make things easy

Yes, a few of our Mirror Glaze products come in 16 ounce sizes, but like we said earlier, NONE of the compounds and paint cleaners do. We did create an 8 oz size of M105 for our Pro Headlight and Spot Repair Kit and ended up selling those individually when the kit itself was eventually pulled. We believe this is a typo on your part and that you have an 8 oz bottle of M105 and not M101.

Again, though, package size for consumer products like Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish is vastly different than package size for the pro line products for all the reasons we stated above.

Just so you know, this is ADS repackaging M101 from larger containers and reselling it to their customers. This is not, technically, Meguiar's packaging of the product in a smaller size. We've been pretty clear about why we are not going to offer smaller sizes in this body shop product.
