  • Question on wax after sealant

I have the mag's #21 Mirror Glaze 2.0 and I was wondering what wax would be best to use after the sealant? I also do have the mag's Sythetic X-press Spray wax I intend to use weekly after car was as a QD. I have been seeing a lot of posts on Gold Class Carnauba. Would it be best yo use a spray wax or paste hard wax after sealant?

I have a 2011 nissan Murano and will correct paint, use dr. color this weekend etc.

2 coats of #21 would be my choice out of those options....

But if you want to try a wax after, sure, Gold Class would be a good option if you wanted to try it out.

You would want the Gold Class to be the Liquid or Paste wax for the actual coat of wax, and then spray waxes for after washing / while drying.

Re: Question on wax after sealant

Understand that you do not have to use any wax at all following a sealant like M21. Sealants are just synthetic waxes and they do the same thing a wax does, only with more longevity and better protection. But some people still prefer using carnauba waxes and they are still very popular. Applying a carnauba over a synthetic is usually done just because the user likes the looks of the carnauba (if they can see a difference at all - this can be very subtle) but again, there is no real need to do so. We still recommend applying M21 or any other wax/sealant at least 3 or 4 times per year, depending on exposure.

Thanks Michael will do. I still have to use the 105/205, fix a few chips before i can seal the car.
