Re: Review & How-To: Meguiar's D115 Rinsefree Express Wash and Wax

That is one heck of a write up, Marc!! Not sure about the big, bold red letters in parts of it, especially considering the fact that I did not invent that particular towel management method (although it is my preferred process). Still, the fact that you did this review using a black vehicle that was not only dirty, but had beautiful paint under the dirt, just proves how safe and effective D115 (and D114 for that matter) are when used properly. Great stuff!!

I just want to follow up on this review. I've used this product more now (about 3 times after this review) and I get amazed even more. Not only does it clean very well, safe and effectively but it produces a brilliant shine! This product leaves the surface with an amazing gloss and depth. And I'm only using it at 10:1-12:1! What more if I use the suggested 4:1! In addition, it makes the surface extremely slick!

I know for sure that when I run out of both my D115 and UWW+, I will for sure buy another gallon of this product. IMHO, it is that good.

I just used product at 4:1 and it can confirm it is identical to the RTU UWWA except with a tint of blue, smells nice..different sorta like bubble gum.
Like Marc mentioned, it leaves the surface incredibly slick and smooth.
I like how D115 really "blacken " the various black trim, black side skirts, and black chin spoiler on my Subie...much like how D156 x press spray wax does.

I can see this as my preferred method of washing my cars, great for the enivronment as well, and that's a bonus....now what to do with my 2 gallons of Hyperwash

I did notice this too on both D115 and UWW+. I think they leave something behind that will help protect plastics.

I don't know about you guys but I think this product is revolutionary. If you're using a product like this to maintain your vehicle, I really don't see a need for a spray wax, a traditional wax, or trim protectant. I think that whatever this product leaves behind will protect your vehicle. It doesn't really matter if it's not as durable as a traditional wax because you use it so often anyway. Even if you wash your car once a week with D115, it will keep your car protected like crazy!

^ haha...we might have to tone it down so we don't effect Meguiars future sales
I might have to start a for sale thread on some of the detail stuff in my inventory
