  • D101 and D103 on chrome?

Can the two all purpose cleaners in the Pro line be used safely on chrome rims without any problems? I've searched and searched and searched and can't seem to find anything...

I have used both D101 APC & D103 APC+ on the chrome lips of my Volk GTS wheels, no problems at 4:1 or 10:1

You shouldn't have any issues whatsoever using these two products on chrome wheels. It's common practice to use either as both a wheel and tire cleaner on a variety of wheel surfaces, but we would caution against doing so on bare, highly polished aluminum.

Chrome is extremely hard and durable, which is why our Chrome Wheel Cleaner is still safe on them even though it's highly acidic. Both D101 and D103 are on the alkaline side, but still perfectly safe on chrome. Just remember to use proper dilution ratios (10:1 is usually more than sufficient) and to rinse thoroughly with water so as not to leave any of the product to self dry on the surface.
