I got a free bottle at a car show. Usually use Ultimate Wax but at $22 a bottle vs. free, and on a $1,000 car, I figured I got nothing to loose. I just washed and dried the car. The paint was already pretty nice and smooth. It's just wipes on with a foam applicator and off with a MF towel. Looks as nice as anything I've used and took just a half hour. Don't know how long it will last but the car is being sold so I'll never find out.

Re: Any thoughts on Armorall butter smooth wax?
Car wax is like beer...all basically the same, however I drink beer brand X and you may drink brand XX. I think brand X is better, you think brand XX is better. Blindfold us, and we would not know which brand we were drinking.

But do a double blind test of two different waxes on a given car and you'd be seriously hard pressed to say with any degree of certainty which is which. Nobody can walk through a parking lot and pick out the car with brand x wax on it. In this case, we'd say that given the value of the car and the fact that you're selling it, applying the free wax was the smart move. There is so much good stuff on the market these days, and very few that are really lousy, so pick the one you like - for whatever reason you like it - and use it often as the saying goes.Michael Stoops

To Please Wash me...I wouldn't say all their stuff is *&^$&^#. I do like their tire foam, (easier to apply, and has the same results as Megs Endurance) and my daughter bought an Armorall dry towel for me last Christmas, and while It is not my preferred towel, I am fairly impressed with it.
