    Re: Pursuit of Shines

If at all possible, I would want to use something before that, either a cleaner/polish (SwirlX, Ult. Polish) or cleaner/wax (Cleaner/Wax, ColorX, White Wax, Black Wax) to prep the paint some before waxing. More of the looks will come from good prep work.

Ultimate Polish is pretty mild (all the ones I listed are), so while they maybe could remove swirls, it would really only be if machine applied.

          Hello and WELCOME TO MOL!

Fist off wax doesn't "make" the shine it only enhances it and protects paint.

Your shine comes from polishing your paint to a FLAT, reflective surface, like a mirror.

The color of your paint doesn't matter when choosing a product.

Black reflects better then other colors, WHEN polished correctly.
So look into polishing it more then what goes on it after.
Any wax will do but it's up to you what is available and CHEAP.
My details get a few pennies worth of wax and they look outstanding, Because I polished them first.

As Mario stated that polishing gives you the high gloss shine and clarity. I would like to at that claying the surface of the paint will greatly help as well. This process remove the bonded contamination that may be on the surface of the paint.

              Thank you so much brothers
              I got your point,
currently I am not facing any swirls problem, so no need of swirl removers or compounds.
Please correct if I am wrong
I think on next week end after wash and dry
I use ultimate polish and after this I will use wax

Hope it helps me to stop producing more swirls on my car.

by good MF Towels and no mits.
You got the "paint defects" by improper washing and no protection on your paint.
You'll figure it out, keep reading and searching the forum.

Buy good MicroFiber towels and use a Quick Detailer spray to clean off morning dust, wiping off with the MF towel.
