Detailing class suddenly canceled on me. Long trip. Dreams shattered.

My name is Kevin.
I'm 20 years old and Its been a dream to earn money by making Cars look like they should- beautiful.
With that said, earlier this year- when I resided in San Diego - I was referred from a friend, whom of which received his certification, to attend your classes in order to obtain mine. I was so hungry for it, I awoke at 5 am, borrowed my dads truck, and took the treck all the way up to Irvine to get there on time. I finally made it to the Meguiars headquarters and sat patiently in my truck, alongside someone who drove all the way from Colorado to take the class.
Unfortunately for the two of us, someone whooped out their iPhone with a post from the Instructor saying he canceled the class due to "fear of weather" and "wasn't feeling well".
Even though there actually wasn't a cloud in the sky.
The feeling of being let down may have not been as harsh on me as for the guy from Colorado, but driving back home to SD having to tell my parents "It was canceled" was one of the worst feelings i've personally had, and it still burns.
I was wondering if there would be any 2014 classes. I'm so desperate i'm willing to fly from Maui to LAX to take the classes- hopefully with an guarantee of some sort that the class I fly out there for wont be canceled on me again.

Hi Kevin,

Please accept my personal apology for the cancellation of the class back in March. Our policy has always been to cancel classes in the event of inclement weather, and we have to rely on weather forecasts for that. It had rained for a couple days prior to the class and the forecast was for that rain to continue. The class was scheduled for March 9 and we posted a cancellation notice on March 7, giving a couple days notice. The gentleman from Colorado came out for a class later in the year, by the way, as there were numerous classes on the schedule through October.

We will be posting the 2014 schedule sometime in December, but we always recommend double checking the sign up thread the night before the class just in case something has suddenly come up. Like we said, we cancelled the March 9 class two days prior so a quick check of the sign up thread would have given you heads up.

I hope to see you at a class session in 2014.
